His initial assignment was Anti-Tank Platoon Leader, Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 319th Infantry Regiment, 80th Infantry Division, Camp Forest, TN. | Colonel McKee’s subsequent duty assignments include: Regimental Intelligence Officer, 422nd Infantry, Germany; Intelligence Officer, Camp Wolters, Texas; Operations Officer, Michigan Recruiting District; Aviation Officer, Germany, Aviation Advisor, Idaho National Guard; Senior Advisor, Japan; Chief, Self-Defense Force Aviation School, Japan; Chief, Logistics Division, U.S. Army Aviation Test Board; Commanding Officer, 8th Helicopter Battalion, Germany; Commanding Officer, 7th Aviation Group, Germany; Aviation Officer, 4th U.S. Army, Texas.
