Colonel Keith L. Comstock was commissioned a Signal Corps Officer upon graduation from Officer Candidate School class 7-47, 19 July 1947. He subsequently attended the United States Military Acedemy where he was commissioned again in 1952. His first duty assignment was as Battalion Adjutant, School Battalion, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. | His subsequent duty assignments include: S-4, 313th Signal Battalion, Fort Meade, Maryland; Radio Officer, 97th Signal Battalion, Boeblingen, Germany; JOC Detachment Company, Landstuhl Air Force Base, Germany; S-3 Officer and Detachment Commander, USASA Operations Center, Fort Huachucha, Arizona; Radio Officer, I Corps Group, Signal Office, Camp Redcloud, Korea; Assistant PMS, The Citadel, Charleston, South Carolina; FREQ Manager, USAREUR, Heidleberg, Germany; Commander, 325 Signal Battalion, Fort Meade, Maryland; Commander, 69th Signal Battalion, supporting MACV-SOG Operations during Vietnam War; Director, TECOM, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland 1972 -1976.
