Colonel Larry L. Raab was commissioned as an Infantry Officer upon his graduation from OCS Class # 17 on 20 March 1967. His first assignment upon commissioning was as Executive Officer, B Company, 6th Battalion, Signal Student Brigade, Fort Gordon, GA. | His subsequent assignments include: Platoon Leader, 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry, 25th Infantry Division, Republic of Vietnam; Custody Officer, US Disciplinary Barracks, Fort Leavenworth, KS; Operations Officer, Seoul, Korea; Commander, Fort Bliss Stockade; IG, USAREC, Fort Sheridan; Chief, Training Division, USAREC-Fort Sheridan; Commander, Dallas Recruiting Battalion; Operations Officer, USAEUR, Mannheim, Germany; and Commander, Stuttgart CID. | Colonel Raab is currently serving as Director, International Fellows Program, Carlisle Barracks, PA. | Colonel Raab is a graduate of the Military Police Advanced Course, Command & General Staff College and the Army War College. | His military awards and decorations include: Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal w/2 Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Commendation Medal w/1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Achievement Medal and Combat Infantryman Badge.
