Welcome Guard grads

2021 marks the 80th anniversary of the U.S. Army Officer Candidate School (OCS) program.

Begun in 1941, the OCS concept and program has supported the Army with quality officers in all branches and all components, Active, Guard and Reserve.

To celebrate this milestone, the U.S. Army OCS Alumni Association (USAOCSAA) is providing free 10-year memberships to National Guard Officers (all branches) who are commissioned in 2021 (Active or State Programs). This offer will extend to August 30, 2021. Once commissioned, guard officers can complete the form below to begin the process of joining OCSAlumni.org

The USAOCSAA is a 7,000-plus organization that continues to grow, with membership from all branches, all components and all periods in history from WWII to the present.

We have chapters throughout the country that offer opportunities for camaraderie, networking, and professional growth. There are no dues at the chapter level. For more information about OCS alumni chapters visit our Chapter page, or for additional questions, contact Dave Taylor, Public Affairs Officer, at dave.taylor@zoominternet.net.

The USAOCSAA created and maintains the new Wigle Hall OCS Heritage Center at Fort Moore, GA which includes memorabilia, photos and artifacts from 80 years of OCS programs. Interactive kiosks and recorded memories of many alumni keep our history current and vibrant.

The association also maintains the OCS Memorial Walk on the active duty OCS Battalion campus. Open to the public, the memorial is a beautifully landscaped area that honors the service and sacrifice of hundreds of thousands of OCS graduates, including Medal of Honor recipients and notable graduates such as U.S. Senator Bob Dole.

The association also sponsors a nation-wide annual reunion in Columbus, GA and on Fort Moore which is coupled with its annual Hall of Fame honors and special awards for distinguished graduates, past and present. The OCS Alumni Association continues to serve and honor the common bond of every OCS graduate.
