His first duty assignment Executive Officer of “A” team, 3rd Special Forces Group, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. | His subsequent duty assignments include: S4-B team, 46th Sspecial Forces Co, Thailand; Executive Officer A team, 46th SF Co, Thailand; Executive Officer A team 236, “B” Co., 5th SFG, Rep. Vietnam; Company Commander and Battalion Commander of 3rd BN, II Corps Mobile Strike Force, 5th SFG, Rep. Vietnam; Liaison Officer to 5th SFG Headquarters, Rep. Vietnam. In 1971, he served as a Commanding Officer of “B” Co, 410th Infantry in USAR Davenport, IA following his discharge from Active duty. | Captain Albracht is a graduate of Augustana College. His military education comprises of Special Forces Officer Course, Airborne School, and Jungle Operations Course. | His highest military awards are the Silver Star w/ 2 Oak Leaf Cluster, Bronze Star Medal w/ 4 Oak Leaf Cluster; 3 w/ “V”), Air Medal (with “V”), Purple Heart w/ 2 Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Commendation Medal w/ “V”. | After retirement he worked as an independent security consultant.
