His military schools attended include: Infantry Officer Candidate School, Armor Advanced Course, Army Command and General Staff College, Army War College, and Parachute School. | His awards and decorations include: Distinguished Flying Cross, Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal (2d award), Army Commendation Medal (2d award), Air Medal (37), Defense Meritorious Service Medal, ARCOM (2d Award), National Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal (3), Army Service Ribbon, Vietnamese Campaign Medal, Rungsuc, Master Parachutist Badge, Master Aviation Badge, and Army Staff Badge.
