ROBERT J. BIGART
Description
Lieutenant Colonel Bigart rose from Platoon Leader to Battalion S3 with the 309th Infantry Regiment. He served as Chief of the Operations Division, G2, Second United States Army, and as Company Commander and Battalion S3 with the 16th Infantry Regiment. Lieutenant Colonel Bigart is a graduate of the Infantry Officer Advanced Course, the Command and General Staff College, and the Armed Forces Staff College. Some of Lieutenant Colonel Bigart’s other assignments include duty as Analyst, Army Field Forces Board Number 3; Commander of a Training Team assigned to Iran; G3, 3d Infantry Division, Fort Benning, Georgia; and Battle Group Executive Officer, 29th Infantry Regiment, Fort Benning, Georgia. Lieutenant Colonel Bigart’s decorations include the Silver Star, the Bronze Star w/1 Oak Leaf Cluster, the Combat Infantryman Badge, Distinguished Unit Badge, and the Commendation Ribbon.
