PARKHURST C. HOUGH
Lieutenant Colonel Parkhurst C. Hough rose from Rifle Platoon Leader to Battalion Commander with the 141st Infantry Regiment in Europe during World War II. He also served as Battalion Commander and Chief of Staff with the 3d Infantry Division at Fort Benning, Georgia. Lieutenant Colonel Hough is a graduate of the Command and General Staff College and the Army War College. Some of his other assignments include duty as Commander of the 430th CIC Detachment, Vienna, Austria; General Staff Officer, War Department, Washington, D.C.; and Commander of the 525th Military Intelligence Battalion, Frankfurt, Germany. | Lieutenant Colonel Hough’s awards and decorations include: the Silver Star, the Bronze Star w/1 Oak Leaf Cluster, the Purple Heart w/2 Oak Leaf Clusters, the French Croix de Guerre and the Combat Infantryman Badge.
