Engen served as a Platoon Leader and Company Commander with the 28th Infantry Regiment, 8th Infantry Division, and saw action in the seizure of Brest-Hurtgen Forrest. | Lieutenant Colonel Engen has been assigned as Company Commander with the 9th Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division and S3 and Battalion Executive Officer with the 23d Regiment, 2d Infantry Division in Korea. Lieutenant Colonel Engen is a graduate of The Command and General Staff College.
