His first duty assignment was as Operations Officer, 192d Military Police Detachment, Nebraska Army National Guard (NEARNG), Lincoln, Nebraska. | His subsequent duty assignments include: Assistant Brigade S-1, Race Relations/Equal Opportunity Officer, Aide-de-Camp, and Company Commander, Headquarters & Headquarters Company (HHC), 67th Infantry Brigade, Lincoln, Nebraska; Aviation Operations Officer, Detachment 1, HHC, 67th Infantry Brigade, Lincoln, Nebraska; Aide-de-Camp, Adjutant, and Personnel Management Officer, Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment (HHD), NEARNG; and, Director of Human Resources, Headquarters, State Area Command (STARC), NEARNG, Lincoln, Nebraska; Chief of Staff, NEARNG, Headquarters, State Area Command, Lincoln, Nebraska. | His civic leadership activities include: Vice President and Board Member of Leadership Lincoln; Vice Chairman of the Mayor’s Community Cabinet; and Strategy Chairman for the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development.
