MARSHELL G. McBEE
Description
Lieutenant Colonel Marshell G. McBee served in Europe during World War II as a Company Commander, and later as Regimental S-3, 409th Infantry, where he attained the rank of Captain. From 1946 to 1950 he had various staff positions and was an instructor at the Army General School, Fort Riley, Kansas, where he was promoted to Major. Subsequent assignments were as G1, 1st Cavalry Division; Battalion Commander, 5th Cavalry Regiment; and Headquarters Commandant, Korean Military Advisory Group. Lieutenant Colonel McBee is a graduate of the Command and General Staff College. | Lieutenant Colonel McBee’s awards and decorations include: the Bronze Star Medal w/ Oak Leaf Cluster, Purple Heart, Combat Infantryman Badge and various service medals.
