Description

Lieutenant General Roy Earl Beauchamp was commissioned as a Quartermaster Officer upon graduation as the Distinguished Military Graduate (DMG) from Quartermaster Officer Candidate School Class 3-67 at Fort Lee, Virginia, 9 February 1967. Later in 1969, he would branch transfer to the Ordnance Corps. He reported to his first duty assignment as S-1, 85th Maintenance Battalion, Hanau, Germany.
