
John R. Freund
Colonel Freund was commissioned a Field Artillery Officer upon graduation from Officer Candidate School Class 2-78, 21 April 1978. His first duty assignment was as a Fire Support Team Chief with Bravo Battery, 3rd Battalion (105mm Towed) 13th Field Artillery, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

Colonel Freund retired 1 July 2006 and at the time of his induction in 2007, he was serving as Vice President for Asia, ITT Defense International residing in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
