JOHN E. HENDERSON

The Honorable John E. Henderson served in the Army of the United States from 1942 until 1946. He rose from the rank of Private to Captain. He was commissioned a Second Lieutenant of Infantry in 1942, after completing the Infantry Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, Georgia. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Ohio Wesleyan University (Class of 1939) and a T.I.B. from Michigan University (1942). Prior to entering the Army in that year he was admitted to the Ohio Bar Association. From 1952-1954 he served as a Congressional Representative from the State of Ohio. From 1954-1958 he served as a Congressman from Ohio and was a member of the 84th and 85th Congresses.
