JAMES S. STELL
Description
Colonel James S. Stell rose from Platoon Leader to Battalion Commander with the 382d Infantry Regiment in the United States and later in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He has also served as Regimental Commander of the 135th Infantry Regiment at Fort Rucker, Alabama. | His other duty assignments include: Assistant PMS&T, North Carolina State College; Senior Advisor to the 5th R.O.K. Division in Korea; G-3, Army Section of JUSMAGG, Assisting and Advising the Greek Army. | Colonel Stell is a graduate of The Command and General Staff College | His awards and decorations include: the Bronze Star Medal w/3 oak leaf Clusters, The Philippine and Korean Presidential Citation and The Combat Infantryman Badge.
