Description

Lieutenant Colonel Houser served in Europe during World War II as a Rifle Company Commander and as Regimental S3 with the 232d Infantry Regiment. He is a graduate of the Infantry Officer Advanced Course and the Command and General Staff College. He was assigned as Chief of the Plans and Organization Branch, Mission to Greece, Athens, Greece. Some of his other assignments include duty as G4 Surplus Property Officer, RYUKUS Command; civilian component duty with the Indiana National Guard; and Executive Officer of the Weapons Department, United States Army Infantry School. Lieutenant Colonel Houser’s decorations include the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Silver Star, the Bronze Star Medal w/2 Oak Leaf Clusters and the French Croix de Guerre.
