His service included: Basic Training, 5th Infantry Division, Fort Jackson, South Carolina; Infantry Soldier, GHeadquarters Guard Company, Tokyo, Japan; Special Operations, GHeadquarters First Raider Company, Korea; Sergeant Major, 164th Infantry Regiment, Fort Rucker, Alabama; Operations Sergeant, 164th Infantry Regiment, Fort Rucker, Alabama.
