Description
COL Gina W. Richards-McCloskey served as a 92A (Logistical Specialist) at Fort Hood from 1983-1997 before graduating Officer Candidate School and commissioning into the Military Police Corps in 1998. Her first duty assignment as an officer was as a Platoon Leader in the 720th Military Police Battalion, Fort Hood, Texas, before her nomination and selection into the Fort Myer Military Police Company, The Old Guard, 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment, Fort Myer, Virginia. There she served as a Platoon Leader from 2000-2002, assisting in the emergency response to the Pentagon on September 11th, 2001, before assuming Command from 2002-2004.
