Description
Colonel Anthony Brian Rogers was commissioned as an Armor Officer upon graduation from Officer Candidate School Class 2-00 at Fort Benning, Georgia, 13 April 2000. He reported to his first duty assignment as a Tank Platoon Leader with Company C, 2-37th Armor Regiment, 1st Brigade, 1st Armored Division.
His subsequent duty assignments include: S-6, HHC, 2-37th AR REGT; S-6, HHC Task Force, 2-37th AR REGT; S-6, HHC, 3-101st AVN REGT; Commander, Co A, 3-101st AVN REGT; Commander, HHC, 3-101st AVN REGT; Senior Observer Controller, 3-338th REGT; CCT Team Leader, 3-338th REGT; Contract Management Officer, Kabul Contracting Center; Chief, Contracting, Kabul Contracting Center; Deputy Commander, Kabul Contracting Center; Team Leader, 650th Contracting Team, Air Force Contracting Squadron, Yokota Airbase; Chief, Support Plans and Operations, 413th Contracting Support Brigade, PACOM; Director of Contracting, Mission Installation Contracting Command, 922nd Contracting Battalion; Commander, 922nd Contracting Battalion; Deputy Director/Senior Procurement Advisor, Resource Management, Defense Security Cooperation Management Office-Afghanistan. He currently serves as Director of Procurement Policy, Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army – Procurement and is slated to take command of the 411th Contracting Brigade.
