Colonel Clement A. Wyllie, Jr. retired from the United States Army in January 1979 after 35 years of active duty. He was a veteran of World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. His decorations include the Legion of Merit w/ 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, Distinguished Flying Cross with Two Oak Leaf Clusters, Bronze Star with Four Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Medal with Seventeen Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Commendation Medal with Two Oak Leaf Clusters, Purple Heart with Two Oak Leaf Clusters, Combat Infantryman Badge, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Silver Star, Vietnamese Air Service Medal, Vietnamese Honor Medal First Class, and the Royal Thai Honorary Army Aviation Badge. | He was a qualified Master Army Aviator and Parachutist. From 1981 through 1996, he was employed as Vice President International with Telemedia Inc., Chicago, Illinois. | He received a Bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska and a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California.
