CHARLES T. BOYLE

Lieutenant Colonel Charles T. Boyle served during World War II as a Company Executive Officer and Company Commander with the 411th Infantry Regiment in Europe. Some of his other assignments include duty as Administrative Assistant, Guerrilla Affairs Division, G3, Philippine - Ryukyu Command; Assistant Professor of Military Science and Tactics, Senior ROTC Unit Training Officer, 3310 ASU, Columbia, Tennessee; Instructor in Tactics to the Turkish Army; Battalion Commander, 1st Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment; Assistant Executive Officer, 30th Infantry Regiment; Executive Officer, G3, United States Army Infantry Center. Lieutenant Colonel Boyle was a graduate of the Infantry Officer Advanced Course. His decorations included the Silver Star, the Bronze Star Medal, the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman Badge and the Expert Infantryman Badge. Lieutenant Colonel Boyle died 4 February 1958 at the United States Army Hospital, Fort Benning, Georgia.
