Miller graduated from Officer Candidate School on 17 December 1957, class number OC-6. His first duty assignment was as Training Officer, Basic Training Command, Fort Chaffee, AK. | His subsequent duty assignments include: Aviator, 1st Cavalry Division Korea;  Asst.
