He worked his way up through the ranks and was ranked a Captain within one of the largest Sheriff's Departments (Riverside County) in the United States. He commanded a field patrol station in Banning, California, that provides law enforcement services for over 450 square miles. He also was under contract with the City of Calimesa as their Police Chief.
