The Honorable John Doyle was commissioned an Infantry Officer upon graduation from Officer Candidate School, Class 2-69, 25 January 1969. His first duty assignment was as Lane Instructor, Ranger Department, Fort Benning, Georgia. | His subsequent duty assignments include: Platoon Leader, 2nd Platoon, Delta Company, 4th Battalion, 21st Infantry, 11th Light Infantry Brigade, Americal Division, Quang Ngai Province, I Corps, Vietnam; Advisor, Mobile Advisory Team, Tu Ngai District, Quang Ngai Province, Vietnam. | As a civilian Mr. Doyle served as President and Board Member, Eastern Panhandle Transit Authority, West Virginia and as a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates for Jefferson County, West Virginia. He also hosts a daily call-in radio talk show.
