Colonel William “Randy” Everett was commissioned as an Infantry Officer upon graduation from Officer Candidate School Class #2-78, 25 September 1978. His first duty assignment was as Detachment Executive Officer, Company C, 1st Battalion, 20th Special Forces Group, Gunpowder, Maryland.
