Mr. Davis is currently retired after serving as CFO for four successful technology

companies in Southern California.  Mr. Davis served as CFO of Amerigon (developing technologies for electric cars) from 1997 to 1999.  He served as CFO of Broadcom Corporation (high speed telecommunications chips) from 1994-1997.  Prior to that he served as CFO of Pairgain Technologies (pioneered technologies for transmission of high speed data over telephone lines) from 1991-1994 and as CFO of EECO, Inc. (computer keyboards) from 1989-1991.  In each of these positions he was responsible for all financial accounting, treasury, MIS and human resources functions.  Mr. Davis has also served in various financial capacities since beginning his career over 30 years ago. He served as Corporate Controller and Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis at MSI Data Corp. (portable data collection systems 1981-1989), as Manager of Planning and Analysis at Western Airlines, Inc. (1976-1981) and as a Senior Accountant at Peat, Marwick and Mitchell.

 

Mr. Davis was nominated and received the Saint Maurice Legionnaire – and Honorary Member of the 11th Infantry Regiment. For outstanding and conspicuous contribution to the Infantry specifically the 3rd

Battalion 11th Infantry, the US Army Officer Candidate School (OCS) and the US Army Officer Candidate School Alumni Association (USAOCSAA).  

On his own initiative, Scott personally developed and procured a monument for OCS Class 24-69. And on

behalf of OCS Class 24-69 he was personally generous with financial support for the OCS Heritage Center and the OCS Memorial Walk. His donation is recognized in the Regiment Commanders Circle. His efforts and donations will significantly preserve the history of OCS and further USAOCSAA goals and objectives.  

Captain Davis was commissioned an Infantry Officer upon graduation from Infantry Officer Candidate School Class 24-69 on August 1, 1969. His first duty assignment was as a Platoon Leader in the Berlin

Brigade, US Army Europe. His subsequent duty assignment was as staff officer in the Berlin Brigade G3. He left service in 1972 to attain a master’s degree in Business Administration and pursue a Business Career. 

His military education includes: Infantry Officer Candidate School, and the Psychological Operations Officer Course. 

His awards include: Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal.

Member of the OCS Alumni Association since 2017. Key member of 50th Company, OC 24-69 Reunion team. Held two successful reunions in 2017 and 2019 (50th year) bringing together approximately 50 classmates out of a graduating class of 160. Successfully helped launch 50th Company website and provided significant portion of content https://50thcompanyoc2469august1st1969.com.
