Lieutenant Colonel Paul Raymond Steckla served with the 358th Regiment, 90th Division as a Platoon Leader, Regimental Communications Officer and S-1. He is a graduate of The Command and General Staff College and the Infantry Officer Advanced Course. Some of Lieutenant Colonel Steckla’s other assignments include duty as a G-3 Staff Officer with the 5th U.S. Army Headquarters and the Far East Command Headquarters;  Commander of the 25th Armored Infantry Battalion, 1st Armored Division; a member of the Army Advisory Group to the Republic of China; Staff Officer, J-3 Section, U.S. European Command Headquarters; and Chairman of the Platoon Tactics Committee, Tactics Department, The U.S. Army Infantry School. | Lieutenant Colonel Steckla’s awards and decorations include: the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star Medal w/ Oak Leaf Cluster, the Purple Heart and the Combat Infantryman Badge.
