N. Glenn Blackburn
Colonel N. Glenn Blackburn was commissioned as an Infantry Officer upon graduation from Officer Candidate School, Fort Benning, Georgia, 8 August 1969. He completed Airborne School and was assigned as a Tactical Officer and Executive Officer, 51st Company, 5th Student Battalion. | His duty assignments included the 101st Airborne Division-Vietnam, 10th Special Forces Group, 172nd Light Infantry Brigade-Alaska, 902nd MI Group, Military Personnel Center-MILPERCEN, Defense Intelligence Agency, Professor of Military Science-Methodist University, Commander, 306th MI Battalion, Combined Field Army-Korea and Commander, Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1994. | His military training included the John F.
