His first assignment was as a Fixed Wing Aviator, General Support Aviation Battalion, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, WA. | His subsequent duty assignments include: Aviator, Saigon, Vietnam; Aviator, Teheran, Iran; Battalion S-3, Bien Hoa, Vietnam; Company Commander, Binh Hoa, Vietnam; Troop Commander, Fort Lewis, WA; Troop Commander, Fort Bliss, Texas; Squadron S-3, Fort Bliss, Texas; Action Officer, MILPERCEN, Alexandria, VA; Battalion Commander, Fort Ord, CA; Recruiting Battalion Commander, Los Angeles, CA; Branch Chief, Fort Leavenworth, KA; and Division Chief, Seoul, Korea. | Colonel Terrell is currently serving as Inspector General, Presidio of San Francisco, CA. | Colonel Terrell is a graduate of the Armor Officer Basic Course, Armor Officer Advanced Course, Flight School, Command & General Staff College and U.S. Army War College. | His military awards and decorations include: Legion of Merit, Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star w/ Oak Leaf Cluster, Meritorious Service Medal w/2 Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Medal w/V Device and 25 Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Commendation Medal w/ Oak Leaf Cluster and Good Conduct Medal.
